Slight seconds mean that the piece has a small imperfection that does not affect its functionality and is merely cosmetic. The piece has been reduced in price to reflect this slight defect. In this case, there is a small surface crack about 4 cm long and the glaze is rather patchy but all aspects of the vase are functional.
Handmade on the wheel this vase measures approximately 26 cm in height and 25 cm wide and 6.3 cm in depth.
Food, dishwasher and microwave safe. Although hand wash is highly recommended.
These items are handmade and therefore do not possess the perfection and uniformity of industrially manufactured ceramic ware. But you will have the assurance of something made by hand and one-off.
