The cup was thrown on the wheel and the handle made from a slab of clay attached when leather hard with a small thumb rest at the top which is also decorative.
Fired in an electric kiln with an opaque white glaze with blue splashes.
Food, dishwasher and microwave safe. Although hand wash is highly recommended.
These items are handmade and therefore do not possess the perfection and uniformity of industrially manufactured ceramic ware. But you will have the assurance of something made by hand and one-off.
